This tutorial is intended for the ZigMiner Z1 Pro which is a Lyra2rev2 miner manufactured by Dayun. The Dayun ZigMiner Z1 Pro is another mining machine that supports the Lyra2rev2 algorithm, all coins based on Lyra2rev2 are supported, such as XVG, MONA, VTC. For Lyra2rev2 mining. Its hashrate is as high as 13.0GH/s, while the power consumption is only 1500w.

Preparations
Before starting the installation and configuration of the miner, it’s recommended to get the following ready:
Ⅰ. Knowledge about Lyra2rev2
The following background information about Lyra2rev2 would be helpful to use the miner:

You need to decide what currency you what to mine and what the pool you want to use. You need to choose one of the mining pools and create a mining worker account in that pool. Also, it is recommended that you have a look at the “Help” section of your mining pool.
In our tutorial, we will use the NiceHash for Lyra2rev2 mining.
Ⅱ. Network
Cet your network ready. The default IP of the miner is 192.168.1.100. So you need to:
- Make sure the IP address of your router is “192.168.1.1“. If not, you need to change the IP address of your router to “192.168.1.1”
- Make sure there are no other devices occupying the default IP address of the miner(192.168.1.100). Otherwise you may not be able to log in to the configuration page of the miner.
- If you have more than one miners, you need to connect and configure miners ONE BY ONE. Refer to the “Running more than one miners” section for details.
In Windows, use the ipconfig command to find out your network details. How to find out your network details:
- Press “Win Key + R“, then a “RUN” box will be shown.
- Type “cmd” in the text box and then hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
- A black box with a flashing cursor will open; this is the Command Prompt.
- Type “ipconfig” and then hit the Spacebar on your keyboard. Then type in the address you’d like to ping and then hit the Enter key on your keyboard. After waiting, you will get the network result. The “Default Gateway” in the result is the IP address of your router.
Ⅲ. Power Supply
Cet your PSU ready. The miner comes with no integrated power supply, so you need to get your own power supply for the miner.
Because there are 17 6PIN ports on the miner, and all 6PINs are needed, your power supply should have at least 17 6PIN connectors. Or you could:
- Use more than one PSUs to connect to one miner. But DON’T connect 1 PSU to more than one miner or more than one hash board.
- Use 1 x 6PIN to 2 x 6PIN splitter cable to match a total of 17 6PIN connectors, which should be easy to get locally.
Miner Connection
- Connect the miner to the LAN port on the same router which your computer is also connected to. The miner is stand-alone, your computer is just needed for miner configuration. And a PSU > 1500w with 6PIN x 17 needed for the miner.
- This is how you will receive the miner from EastShore.
- Check if the cables on the miner are connected tightly (they could loosen up during shipping).
- There are EIGHT hashboards, each with two 6PIN ports on it, and another 6PIN port on the controller for a total of 17 6PIN ports. All the 17 6PIN ports on the miner should be connected to your PSU.
- Connect the ethernet cable and power cord, then, miner connection is DONE.
Mining Guide
- Make sure you connected the miner properly. Then, power on your PSU.
- Wait for 1~3 minutes. (The miner needs about 1~3 minutes to initialize itself. Wait patiently.)
- Log into the miner configuration page: The default IP of the miner is: “192.168.1.100”. Run your Internet browser, such as Google Chrome. and open the default IP address 192.168.1.100. The username and password are both “admin”.
- Sometimes, you may not be able to log into the configuration page immediately, just wait for about 1 minute, then try to log again.
- Then, the “Homepage” of the miner will display as follows.
- All setting options are on the left side of the page.
- Click the “Settings -> Pools” tab for mining account settings.
- Before setting your mining account, you should first take a look at the “HELP” page of your mining pool to know the mining URL of your pool. In our test, we used NiceHash for Lyra2rev2 mining. According to its HELP page, we set our pool URL of the miner as:
Pool URL: stratum+tcp://lyra2rev2.hk.nicehash.com:3360
Pool Worker: 32E……….XM (Your mining ADDRESS)
Pool Password: 123123
- After setting your mining account details, save the settings by clicking “Save & Restart Miner“.
- Wait for 1~3 minutes, then the miner will reload the mining settings and start mining with the mining account you just set.
- You can check the mining details on the “Dashboard -> Widgets” page. The mining speed showing here will refresh every 600Secs.
- You can also set your own refresh time. Go to “Settings” tab, change the “Reflesh time” and click “Save” to save the changes. Then the mining status will be refreshed accordingly.
- You can check the working details of all hashboards in the “Dashboard -> Local Miner” page. The “DEV HR” of all eight hashboards should be green and with hashrate displayed. If not, you need to check if the cables on the miner are connected tightly.
- If your miner works perfectly, you don’t need to change anything else if you are not sure what you are doing.
- Now, you are all set up. Let the beautiful machine work and earn money for you.
Running more than one miners
If you need to run more than one Z1 Pro miner at the same time, you need to:
- Connect and configure miners ONE BY ONE.
- After configuring a miner, you need to CHANGE the IP protocol of that miner to DHCP. So you can configure another miner via the default IP “192.168.1.100”.
How to change the IP protocol of ZigMiner Z1 Pro:
- Go to “Settings -> System”, change the “Protocol” to “DHCP”, then click “Save & Restart machine” to save the changes.
- Wait for 1~3 minutes.
- After setting the protocol, the miner’s IP will change. You need to scan the new IP of the miner(After changing the IP protocol, you will only be able to access this miner’s configuration page via this new IP). - Relogin the miner configuration page via the new IP you just scanned out.
