The Antbox is the product of Bitmain released in March 2018. It is basically a small mining farm fits into a container. It can hold as many as 324 units of S9 miner. This product saves the trouble of building a mining farm from scratch.
We visited the manufacturer in Shenzhen, in this piece, we will reveal more details about this product.

Product Specifications
The Antbox looks just like a container which is made of high strength steel. The size is: 5.85m*2.3m*3.07m. The weight is around 3 tons.
The box is covered in glazed varnish which is moist resistant.
In the corners, there are holes for fixating.
The door is equipped with smart lock which opens with the key or swiping the card.
The blinds of the windows are made of steel which can be adjusted by hydraulic pump.
The net behind the blinds is made of iron net, plastic net and dust-preventing net.

Inside of the ANTBOX, on the left it is the shelf to place the miners, and on the right, it is the power controller.
There are 3 rows of shelves, each shelf has 9 levels. Each level has an independent air switch and can hold 12 sets of miners and accessories. In total, the Antbox can accommodate 324 units miners.

3cm thick of insulation of the floor.
The windows are placed on each side of the box, the top and bottom are enclosed. One side is installed with cooling curtain to cool down the air outlet. This is better than using fans in traditional farms.
In addition, 6 ways of multiple-unit assembling are supported by the manufacturer to cater to different needs.
The box we observed has been sitting outdoors for a while, but inside there is no sign of any wear.
The manufacturer provides technical support for this product and the warranty is a year.
Installation
There are 3 requirements to meet for using the ANTBOX：weight-supporting, power and space.
- First, to take S9 as an example, each S9 weighs 4.1kg, each power supply weighs 2kg, so324 units will weigh about 2 tons. With the weight of the box itself, the position to place the box should be able to support a weight of 5 tons.
- Second, power consumption of each S9 is around 1400w, in total the Antbox requires 500kw of power.
- Third, for ventilation, the air inlet on the right side needs around 16 meters of space and the left side 10 meters.
Installation is not difficult. First, connect power source to the miner.
Then put it on the shelf, the power supply is placed above the miner, and connect the ethernet cords and power cables.
Each level of the shelf is about 26.5 high, which can accommodate most miner models and submodels of the manufacturer, as you can see in the following picture.
ANTBOX comes along with mining monitor software. It is convenient to monitor and control it.
Mining farm with Antbox combinations
The first combination consists of 6 Antboxes placed as 2 levels. The second combination consists of 8 Antboxes.
To the left in the picture, there is a door on each level. And there is a ladder leading to the second level.
On the same side with the ladder, it is the air outlet. As you can see through the blinds, there are different models of miners. 16 Antbox contains 4536 units of miners.
The 4536units take up about 100㎡. And there is space left for ventilation as you can see.
There are 2 small windows for looking into inside.
The water cooling curtains on the back pumps up water from the water tanks.
The water recycles but needs to be filled up from time to time.
The following picture shows the inside of the combinations. On the right side, it is the power control cabinet.

The temperature inside is 19℃.
The small screen on the power control cabinet shows the power conditions. Under the green and red rights, there are 3 switches, which are the blinds controls.
